1953 Rolex 6298 Power Reserve?

Hi- new to the forum! Does anyone have an estimate of how long the power reserve should be on a ref #6298?

Probably about 48 hours. it has an A296 movement right? Same as some many "Bubblebacks" (Not sure if its considered a BB)

The 6298 is a pretty cool watch btw. Please post pics.

1953 Rolex 6298 Power Reserve?

From what I have researched- the Ref. 6298 has an A296 movement. I just picked it up and I have been having the issue that the power reserve is < 12hrs. Thinking of taking it back since its under warranty. Any thoughts? Any info on the 6298 would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the watch need a full COA by a competent watchmaker. Just get it done, and the power reserve should go back up to 48 or so. Dirt and friction kills everything in a watch

pre explorer rolex

Hi.
I have a rolex 6298 which is called pre explorer. By the way its
a half bback rolex. I am looking for a nice dial for my watch, cause mine
Is not looking good due to aging and moisture. The watch
is in mint cond, never polished before . Can anyone help ? Thanks
