What an UGLY WATCH. I hate DJs with white roman dials, send it over here so I can dispose of it for you.
You got yourself a classic right there! I really love the new clasps with the "hook" release. |

Don't listen to Roger, Jose. He's trying to scam you. He loves that watch.
And he's right. It's a beauty. I'm a sucker for white dial Romans, too. Wear that beauty in good health and enjoy.

Time out for a sec. Is that a bottle of grey goose, a lighter, a rolex, and a gun in your avatar

Very nice watch.
I had one just like that on my wrist just about every day while I was visiting the AD's in Vegas

Congratulations-nice Datejust! I have been considering the same model except without the fluted bezel but with the domed bezel instead. I think the white face looks very nice. Hope you get many years of enjoyment from it.

I just noticed something because of your very nice photo: does this Rolex not have nighttime luminosity? I can't see the lume dots if that is the case. I was just wondering because I think at least the model with the stick markers does have nighttime lume. Am I wrong about this? It's a beautiful dial nonetheless. Great choice.

I agree with you that the roman dials are nice. In fact, I have been leaning towards getting the Roman numeral dial for a couple of months now. But I am also glad that I figured this out before I bought one so that I could consider this factor as I decide which Datejust to get. It's funny to me that I didn't notice this before, because usually I am alert to these things. I guess I just assumed all Rolex watches had Superluminova. Thanks for clearing this up.

Hey Jose,
Congrats on an absolute beauty. White dial with Romans - WOW!! What a terrific combo!! Wear it in good health. I specially like that wrist shot - very clear and makes the watch look so damn good!! The new Oyster bracelet too is a cracker!! Cheers - JJ
