Incoming (Sub-$5k METAS With Great Proportions)

Went to the AD yesterday. Certain I’ll have my BLRO by year’s end but ended up leaving with something I had written off. Man, this Tudor Black Bay 41 in burgundy with 5-link bracelet is actually quite nice. Love the T-fit clasp and adjustment. Love the slim lugs and chamfers. Overall, a surprising watch at this price point.

Beautiful, already a classic color combo. I’m holding out to see if they upgrade the Harrods to that case and bracelet, else I would be looking at that one more closely.

Congrats on your great looking BB41. Love the burgundy tone bezel, a very nice shade. Nice bracelet too. Tudor makes great watches with the Rolex DNA at sensible prices. Enjoy and wear it in good health. Cheers!

I was at my AD yesterday and had a discussion about this with the Rolex buyer and one of their SAs who came in from Harrods. They have two ex Harroids people in the watch section. The consensus from discussions/gossip/dropped hints from people in the trade but with no hard evidence (this is Rolex after all) is that the Harrods special edition will end as is and there will not be another one.
