Hello from Delaware USA
Hi,
My name is Chuck and I have been a Rolex fan since the mid 60's. While in the Air Force, I became acquainted with the Rolex watch thru a few pilots I knew. After I got discharged from the military, I bought my Rolex Submariner, Reference 5512 Caliber 1570, that I wear till this day(38 years). What a great watch it has been

Indeed I know the 5512 very well and believe it is a amazing watch.
It sounds like yours is serving you very well at 38 years of use and enjoyment.

I hope you will stick around and enjoy the discussions and a photo of your watch is always welcome.

So I'm guessing your pilot buddies told you that "Rolex" was the watch to get? I hope they were right

Hi to all,
Thanks for all the welcomes and nice words. I will take some pictures this weekend.I wanted to add that this watch was serviced by Robert Mills(Certified Rolex repair) in Philadelphia all of it's life. Robert has since passed.
