Equation of time

I was looking at the FP Journe "Astronomic" watch, the first watch ever to have its price tag printed across the dial BTW, and I noticed "equation of time". Being an ignoramus, I had no idea what this meant, so unfortunately for anyone here who might be interested, I Googled it.
