Retro 1970s seems to be trying to make a comeback.

What happened to this?

I've heard nothing in a while and I just looked for the account on IG and it seems to have gone.

Did I miss an update?

Cheers

It's still "toledanoandchan" on Instagram. They just announced today that the launch date is May 16th (partnering with Hodinkee) - limited and numbered run of 175 pieces at around $4k.

Well I got my order in, I thought it didn't open till 9 am but when I went to the site a few minutes early it was live so I placed an order right away. Only 175 are being made so it should be interesting to see how long till they sell out.

Did anyone else get in on this?

They were available when I checked at about 9:30 am. Looks to be sold out now. Congrats! Curious to hear a real review once you get yours.

Sold out, that is awesome!
I will post when I get it for sure.
I just think it looks really unique and I love the stone dials of the 70s.

I think they were just late on updating their site.
It shows sold out there now as well.
Either way I look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Hoping to see my friend with one later next week to check it out in-person. Really hard to tell what it's like without seeing it in-person I think.

Pics look awesome though.

Loving it. Everyone who’s seen it on me has been wow’d.
Took it to my watchmaker to adjust links (screws on bottom not side) and he was very impressed with the build quality

OK arrived last night, looked too complicated for me to size and Toledano & Chan suggest you have a watch store handle it for you. Just got it sized this AM and my watchmaker said it was one of the more challenging bracelets he has ever sized.

Initial impressions. Very cool box, really a unique look and it's actually quite comfortable.
This isn't a daily wear watch as like any watch without hour markers it isn't the quickest for reading the time but this watch is about the design. The dial is beautiful, the hands are quick pick up and look great.
I am glad I was able to get one and could see myself getting another if/when they release new dials.
Toledano & Chan hit a homer with this one!
Packing is unique as is the entire watch.
