Hypothetical

Just curious..
I’m not a real buyer on these today.
But- hypothetically- what would guys rather have as part of a watch collection?
I know it would depend on what else you already had, etc but just curious what you guys would pick.

IP for sure

More interesting complication, better readability, thinner, less afraid to wear it (would hate to see what a scratch looks like on frosted gold)

I’d actually bet it holds up ok. I don’t know for sure but I saw this one at the service center and you could tell it was worn a lot and there really weren’t any marks on the bracelet. My brushed watch shows everything.

I always thought it would be harder to see scratches on the frosted surface.

I would pick the QP in this case. The frosted gold is too much bling for my taste.

If I had FU money (which I don’t and never will…), I would pick the frosted openwork.
If the perp’s bezel was brushed vs polish, then I would pick the perp under majority of scenarios.

Either ones are killer though…

I’m thinking I would go with the frosted openwork. If I was going to add a $200k ap right now it would not be a daily it would just be a special watch to put on once in a while and I think the frost would give more of that OMG thing I’d want in this case.

For ~$200k and you need a little bling, this is tough to beat in WG IMO.

I would pay a bit more for the openworked ceramic. It is not scratchable.

Ya I love the ceramic. But then you’ve gotta decide between ceramic open or ceramic perp.. and that’s not easy
