GMT SS or WG blue dial

Seems like the SS version is by far the most popular. But if both were available would you go with the SS or WG blue dial version?

I have owned both. Kept the blue dial Pepsi. It is one of my favorite watches in the catalogue.

Which one do you like best, both have their advantages, easiest decision, buy both! Looking forward to your wrist shots, good luck!

I decided I'm going to sell my purple watches, but holding off for the generation after the next, I heard the colors will be dialed to perfection.

Yes! Life's too short for SS The problem is once you go PM... it's very hard to go back "down" the catalog IMO.

White gold, no question. Stainless is nice, but not in the same league.

If we are talking Pepsi's, my order of operation would be as follows:

WG Meteorite
SS Jubillee
SS Oyster
WG Blue dial.

I think that I’m exactly the opposite …

1. WG Blue dial
2. SS Oyster
3. SS Jubilee
4. WG Meteorite

Roger, I am with you on this as well. The meteorite was disappointing in the flesh for me, and it was difficult to tell the time. No bueno.

The video of the blue dial is amazing. Looks totally different than the pictures on the web site.

There’s obviously a huge white elephant in the room …. Price

That said, if money is not an issue and it purely comes down to aesthetics and wearability, I prefer the SS.

It’s lighter on the wrist, and you can get it with the jubilee bracelet which is more comfortable (to me) than the oyster. I also prefer the gloss black dial

I have owned the WG with the black dial and the SS on Jubilee and I prefer the SS. The WG is nice and the blue dial is very cool but based on the price difference and wear, I prefer the SS.

Price aside, I like the look of the black dial over blue and with the SS you get the option to have both bracelets.
If WG, 116719 is the one for me.
