That box arrived today CJ.

I knew I should have gotten the 12 watch display box instead of the 6.

If anyone is wondering where my other LV is.

I gave it to my best friend. Like a brother to me. He was gonna get it in my will anyway. He always liked it. Rather be alive and see him enjoy wearing it.

What a great thing to have such a good friend. Well done sharing this watch with someone who appreciates it and means so much to you. Amazing.

Thank you both above.

It gave me great joy to do it. Felt like the right thing to do. He is a true younger brother to me. A budding WIS too. Dude has had my back for over a decade here in Japan.

My niece and nephew if they want can have their pick of the rest. Though sadly they are Apple Watch kids. Hopefully someday someone close to me will get my Dad’s Date.

I love your collection Tom...sorry about your father, things are different after they are gone. Love that you gifted your other LV to your best friend. Its funny, I do not know you, but have seen you interact with all of us here on TRF including myself and you get a vibe off people. I was not wrong about you Tom...good soul!

I LOVE that classic SUB and GMT. Far better proportions than the newer ones IMHO

Agree. Love the classics and 5 digit models.

Like colors to keep me young so I love the Grape and the Mint though.

Great collection. Sorry for the loss of your father. My dad is still with us and decided to give me his 1970 ish Speedy as well as a 1902 Waltham pocket watch last year. These will stay with me until as long as I am on this earth.

It’s beautiful. Probably the least comfortable of my watches. But nothing extreme. Nothing else will get much wrist time for awhile.

Great collection!

What serial series was the LV you gifted? My first watch was a D serial LV sub before the rehaut was engraved. Gave it to my sister.

It was an M. I wore it for years. Had it serviced and gave it to him. It’s the one he saw on my wrist all the time.

My keeper the V was NOS I found at a grey in Osaka. Bought it 11 years ago the same day I got my dog as a puppy. Just stumbled upon it. The grey had gotten it in the day before. I saw it. Went back to my hotel and slept on it,

Picked up my dog. Then had the taxi driver stop at and wait for me at the grey. Ran in. Bought it in maybe 5 minutes then had the driver take me and my new puppy to the bullet train station. Where she enjoyed her first taste of freedom on the train.

Wow. Thank you. It’s probably the easiest dial to read too. Very legible. It was my Dad’s treasure. I bought it for him on his 80th birthday.
