And just like that, the NOS 2020 hulk prices don’t look so bad after all.

Professional brokers and traders. Someone buys an OP at $6,300-$6,500 and sells to DSW for $7,200. DSW sells for 8,100.

Bigger profits for the new Sub!!!

Rolex, AD, Flipper, DSW all make money.

Customer gets his watch without waiting.

Never thought in all my life of watch collecting with Rolex I would see a premium on a Oyster Perpetual. Wow....

The Sub is on a whole other level of madness.

I just wish all these people/things that ruined our hobby the last 3-4 years would go back to doing whatever they were doing.

We've always had Greys and thats is perfectly fine but they have NOT always operated there business model like this. Just wow....

I've heard Rolex has a team dedicated to investigating AD's and all that jazz which seems to have zero affect. They should just buy one of those OP's, check the warranty card, end that AD's contract. Rinse repeat for these very obvious watches that are coming straight from an AD to DSW. 3 BNIB OP41's? yea that seems like an AD package, unless some private buyer bought that many watches to flip to DSW.

Edit - I should add, I don't really have any hate for DSW, if he can get those and sell those for $8k+ or the Kermit for that much, all the power to him. Free market and yada yada yada.

yup , yup $ makes the world go round.. Even tho i could but i would never pay over msrp for watches or bourbon. Any lux goods to be honest. Vintage on the other hand is a different topic.

This batch looks like it came straight from an Ad as part of a big bundle

He has numerous pieces described as “unworn condition, AD removed the plastics”

In addition to the 2020 models there is a CHNR and a Diamond Datejust 36 with the exact same description. Guessing there are others as well.

I don't condone any of these prices, but if we're speaking in matters of fact, I've seen that reference fetch higher premiums in dealer groups and threads.

Capitalism in action and just as (if not more) American than apple pie! Supply and demand...cracks me up when people get upset when a widget is 18k over msrp; no one is making you buy it.

It is my understanding that most grey market Rolex inventory is sourced through offshore sources. Some big name dealers here source this way exclusively. Just refer to origin codes on the warranty cards, not many US/AD's will be found especially for more popular models. Most watches from greys that look perfect and are advertised as "excellent, unworn, or like-new" have been professionally refinished. The best/safest way to purchase a brand new Rolex watch is through an authorized Rolex dealer.

Fair play, he is entitled to charge what he wants as a business so no problem with that.
I have held the watch and didn't buy it's not special. Buy a 5 digit sub instead.
