Trade 3 for 1

First off I apologize if this type of question is not allowed on this forum. If it's not, mods please delete. That being said here's my question for the seasoned vets here.
I've realized that it's impossible to buy a 116500 at retail and as they say, you only live once. I've got 3 watches I'd like to trade and would like the opinion on what I should expect to pay in addition to the trades.
What I have.
2019 Sub Date 116610LN purchased 6/2019
2018 Datejust 126300 Wimbledon dial purchased 5/2018
2002 Datejust 79174 rhodium face with diamonds purchased 2/2002

I have boxes and receipts for all of them. Don't know why I kept the 2002 papers and box but I did for some weird reason.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Thinking you could trade those and still have give 4 to 5K. Not sure I would do it.

I personally would never consider this trade. If you really want to, good luck to you and may you get a deal that works in your favor

Thanks for this. Going to give it a shot. Just looking for opinions on price difference on what I should pay in addition.

Looking at white dial or black? New or pre owned 116500?

Are you ok with it having no date? I hated my Daytona after I got it and that was one of the main reasons. I mention as all your other watches have a date function.

Trade in value (est.):

2019 Sub Date 116610LN purchased 6/2019 = $9 - 9.5K
2018 Datejust 126300 Wimbledon dial purchased 5/2018 =5.5 - 6K
2002 Datejust 79174 rhodium face with diamonds purchased 2/2002 = 3 - 4K

You'll probably have to come up with $5K - $7K (depending on the seller).

In that case, I’d say you’ll have to come up with $4-6.5k...give or take

Depends how much you want the 116500. Numbers off the top of my head would require 5k+ out of your pocket, wouldn't surprise me if it was closer to 10k.

The sub is the better and more satisfying watch imho, I would hold onto it and decide if the Daytona is everything you wanted after ownership.

No way 3 for 1 trade plus cash. Just sit for Awhile and wait for daytona price to come down. You have a great set of watches you will regret it

This ^^^

Makes my head hurt thinking about the time and hassle it would take to sell three watches privately

Agreed... Daytona hype

You might be disappointed. See if you can try one on first and
check your pulse...

I tend to fall into the less is more camp so if you’re comfortable with the additional cash go for it. One grail is better than three nice watches so long as you wear and love it

No way I would do the trade. A combination of the Sub and DJ is much better than the Daytona IMHO

i wouldn't.

If the daytona was readily available, would you still want to do this trade? Or would you give two ^%&^% about it since anyone could get it. How you answer is your answer to this 3 for 1.

i wouldn’t do it.

a wise art collector once told me never to sell in order to buy.

it isn’t impossible to buy a daytona at retail. it’s just impossible to buy it today.
