Narrowed down to 2 options for my next
Looking to take advantage of this market disfunction and potentially get a really great deal on my next piece.
A little background first. I currently have 3 watches total. First, a hesalite speedy which was my first watch right out of school. Second, a dark side of the moon that I wear most of the time. Third, an oris 65 on rubber that I got just for fun and wear on occasion. So here are the two contenders. Price difference between them is negligible to me. 1. Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur: It's unlike any watch I currently own. Big fan of the brand and I would be able to put it on alligator to dress it up or the stock rubber strap to make it more casual. Only 50m water resist but its a screw down crown and I'm not taking it swimming anyway. Really like the dial and hands. White dial version is my favorite. Blue is nice but feel the hands will get lost. https://www.ulysse-nardin.com/usa_en/1183-310-3-40.html 2. Omega Aqua Terra Worldtimer: A bit similar to my speedys and while technically not a dive watch it's not a dress watch either. Movement and dial are next level and I see it as the ultimate GMT Master 2 killer. Would get it on bracelet but also purchase the rubber strap and even wear it on a dark brown calf skin as well. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/w...timer-43-mm-22 |

The Omega for me.
Why chop out the nice Roman numerals with a sub-dial?

One on one, i’d take the omega.
But since you already have two omegas, would get another brand. If you like the UN, then it must have jumped at you somehow. It doesn’t sing to me though. |

This isn't as close as I thought. Do people generally not like Ulysse Nardin or have I just taken an interest in a less popular model?
