If maxi case is not for you and you want new watch, I would say that Yacht Master is the solution.
If you are open to second hand, any 5 digit Sub or GMT would be very good option.

I am definitely a fan of the BB58, hoping for more dial options whenever Tudor releases 2020 (2021) product line. As for JLC, I prefer the Master Control Calendar and the Geophysic.

Maybe something much more standing our than Exp.
TT Sub, GMT or DJ is an option.
You may also consider Z-Blue as more colorful watch
