all of the ADs in SoCal are temporarily closed. Anybody getting calls from ADs are probably "preferred customers" and are spending crazy money with them

I wonder how they get watches from other stores where the store name is on the warranty card? Rolex also has a strict policy that chain stores i.e. ADs with several locations cannot shift watches within their chain, but watches must be sold at the actual store the watch was allocated to.

Chains can also see what stores hold a particular model and transfer that piece to their store for a particular client. Eg I walk into a London store after a RG sky-dweller. They don’t have one in stock, but their Birmingham store has one in the window. They’d get that watch from that store for me to get a sale for the group. |
