Cartier Tank hidden signature
Hey Cartier experts,
Does anyone of you know what’s the pattern of the hidden signature being at either 7 or 10 ? Btw is this only applied on the tank? Can’t find anything on that online. Thanks so much |

A sales associate in a Cartier boutique once told me that it depends on the size of the watch with the bigger ones having the signature at 7 (men’s and unisex watches) and the smaller ones at 10 (women’s watches).

No, it is not only on Tanks. It is on various other models, such as the Drive, the Rotonde, Ballon Bleu, the Cle, the Santos Dumont, and the white dial Santos de Cartier (but not on the blue dial, as that has applied metal roman numerals).
