I admit as the value jumped up recently to nearly 100k I’m not overly comfortable wearing it, but value aside I prefer the 15300. I like the second hand, i prefer the screw down crown and the quick set date. Yes, it’s not as thin, but it’s still a very thin watch and extremely handsome. And at 39mm it will wear really well on a smaller wrist just as the 15202 does. |

I would go with discontinued rose gold 29540OK Chronograph, because it’s a lower price than that range and is a real bang for your buck that holds value well

But if you don’t like that I would go with a panda Daytona as a classic flex

Why don’t you go mid-sized vintage? The 14790 is my personal favorite and at 36/37mm it’s comparable to the 15450 but thinner and better proportions. They are going up fast but getting one in the 30s is still possible.

Thanks - ended up going with a 15450ST - silver dial. I am very pleased with it and appreciate all the recommendations. I think the 37mm dial fits my 6.5 inch wrist pretty well. Maybe 39mm would be slightly better. I think my next one (not in the very immediate term) will be the 38mm grey dial (Ruthenium) chrono 26315ST.

15500st > Daytona.
If I were you I'd inquire an AP Boutique and have some patience & save the remaining 15k. |

Congrats I have the same size wrists and am very happy with my decision! Go with your heart.
I love the way the 15500’s change so much in different light settings Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I would look at 15202, 15400 or ROC 38mm only. AP and Rolex serve different purposes
