Price increase predictions?

What do you think the price increase will be on SS, TT and PM models? Usually in January, correct me if I'm wrong?

I'm thinking a big 10% across the board based on how well sales are going and the rumor of "try on" watches coming to ADs worldwide.

I can see them bump up pricing 10% in total next year but not in one shot. Then again, I’ve seen some crazy **** lately

There is no set time and no one knows what or when anything will ever happen until Rolex announces it.

Prices of everything goes up all the time, Rolex watches will too. If not this year the next. The MSRP however hardly matters-to the point its irrelevant as few can access it as MSRP.

It varies from country to country.

Its completely random and Rolex just do it as and when they feel like it.
No change.

Don't know why we even bother mentioning it really, as there will be similar threads coming along at increasingly regular intervals.

Can only think it's people fueling the pump and dump hype for personal reasons.

This was yesterday's thread on it.

Unless Rolex does something spectacular with a price increase it will mean zip to the current situation or for the far distant future.

Even a 10% increase across the range would have little effect.

Worldwide?....I'd guess 2022 will see a few additional princes, but I doubt I will even notice here in the US.

Last hike was January 2020 in the US. It was not an even percentage. If Rolex wanted to stave off some of the flipping, they would make a massive jump in hot models to like 90% if current market value. So a SS Daytona would jump to say $35k. OF Daytonas would jump to $45k, SS BLRO to $20k, etc.

But this will never happen.

It makes no difference when you cannot buy one from the AD!
But if it does go up it will be about 5%

ADs make sales they just don't advertise it

In 2020 we bought an OP 36 Grape on a walk in, a CHNR which took 8 months, and a white TT Sky Dweller on a walk in, from our AD. When I bought the Sky Dweller I was also offered a BLNR, which I declined. A BLRO arrived at the AD for me this year.

Two out of three in 2020 were right place right time. Two others were waits. It happens. Don't lose heart, or think it never will, because it could.

Price increase predictions?

Nobody knows. I will say I’d be surprised if we don’t get one in 2022 but when and how much you’d have to ask the wizard of oz… JF Dufour.

They could (but they won’t) increase by 100% right now and nothing would change availability-wise
