If this model isn’t on your mind 24/7 then it’s not the right one to buy. Look at something else

I saw youtube review on this watch is that it is much thicker compared to other rolex models. Its even thicker than GMT and review seem to say its hard to stuff it under the long sleeve at times.
Ok now I am not even sure does it classified as a sports model
Offered? Did you buy it I hope!

I personally do not consider its Sports Model.

This morning I just said that I am waiting for the blue dial Sky D.

This afternoon I went out shopping and stop by the boutique to say hi to my SA. My SA told me that my Blue dial Sky D. just came in so I came in at the right time.

Wow, such a perfect timing for me.

Thanks, I have been waiting for 6 months but during that time many wonderful timepieces came along too, this is the 6th timepieces for this year (see my signature).

For the next one I would love to have another PM Daytona with meteorite dial.

Happy Holidays to everybody!

Very nice, congrats! May I ask how big your wrist is and how it wears compared to the stainless Daytona and OP41? I have both latter models and have been considering a stainless blue-dial SkyDweller as well but fear it may be too chunky. Thanks!

I have 6.6" wrist, Daytona is the best fit for my wrist but when I love the dial very much, even they are a bit too big, I still go ahead and have it.

The biggest one that I have in my collection is DSSD JC (44mm). It's big but I still love it.

I appreciate your insights and share a very similar philosophy. I used to think the supercase Subs & GMT’s were too oversized as I have 6.5” wrists (although very flat) but I’ve grown to appreciate the more robust design aesthetic. I tried the blue SkyD on oyster at my AD this past weekend and was surprised how good it looked and felt. I just worry it won’t fit comfortably under a dress shirt and will be relegated to weekend and/or short sleeve wear.

One more request - can you share a pic of the SkyD on your wrist from a few feet away for a more accurate perspective?

It’s a great all rounder but it does wear on the large side. It’s an annual calendar and to some that’s a huge advantage and to others it’s a bit too complicated (a busy aesthetic).

Really comes down to your personal preference and how you see it fitting in with your lifestyle

Good luck
