Incoming: [POLL] MK1 Pepsi with two bracelets!
Proud to present my latest acquisition
A mint condition Pepsi MK1 bezel with both the jubilee and the oyster bracelets. The 78200 oyster bracelet was bought later from the original owner and really fits the watch like a glove. For me it doesn't get any better. Also, having seen the current Pepsi I have to admit that I much prefer the older colors of my MK1 as the current one looks way too dark to me,especially indoors. Enough said, moving on to the pics!

Lovely watch, so much nicer than the newest models.
Iconic Rolex Hard to choose between bracelets, it oos lime a different watch on each one. I voted Jubilee just because I'm not crazy on Oyster PCLs..

No matter the perceived colour bezel myself would always choose a Oyster bracelet..

I have always been a huge Oyster Bracelet fan and thought the Jubilee looked dated and from the 70's. Which to me made me think of all of the older DJ's with stretches out bracelets from that era. Little did I know that when I owned it the fit, finish and look are outstanding. The Jubilee is one of the most comfortable bracelets out there and on my BLRO or BLNR looks great. It maybe that I am just looking for a change up from the Oyster but I do enjoy the overall shinny look of the bracelet.

Yep! I went and got another Mk1 BLRO last month. I like it better and do not want the current color (at this time). I prefer the Mk1 brighter colors. Mine rides on a 97200.

Very nice OP.
I’m a fan of the jubilee, but it also looks great on the oyster. With so many Rolex professional references on oyster bracelets, it’s nice to have something a bit different IMO |

They both look fantastic in different ways. I still can't decide which one I like better.

I like the last one with darker colours personally but with a jubilee. That's just my preference but either way they are all stunning

Pepsi and Jubilee is too "feminine" looking for me. Although I like a Jubilee for non sports models...100% Oyster for a sports model. You don't have any pictures you can share? |

I'm partial to the Oyster look, but I really don't think you can go wrong with either

My wife would kill me if these three watches were in my collection. I'm a watch lover and I can barely tell the difference.

Jubilee is far more comfortable and makes the Watch way more versatile imho. It’s harder to show scratches compared to the PCL on oyster. Finally, the MKI only came on jubilee and I like to keep my watches the way they were born

First of all, big congrats on the MK1 PepC !
On the PepC, my favorite is the jubilee. But because it's always good to have options, you made the best choice so you don't have to worry about which one you're going to wear, just using what your mood tells you. If this poll had been done when the watch was first debuted back in 2018 the results would have been overwhelmingly in favor of the oyster. Not the case anymore. |
