Incoming, first week of the new year

Does anyone else think we might see a little rush of incoming stainless references over the next week? For the most part, all the watches that were shipped before Rolex shut down for the holidays have probably made it to the receiving AD before year end. However, I'm thinking that the ADs were pretty confident that there were big price increases on the stainless professional references and therefore wouldn't be surprised if they held some watches back until after the first of the year, in hopes of selling them for the roughly 10% higher sales price.

That being said, I have no idea if the ADs have a big incentive to move out as much inventory with registers sales prior to year end. Maybe their next years allocation is based on calendar year sales or other types of things that would discourage this type of holding watches over for the higher sale prices in the new year.

Thoughts?

Not really dreaming, just wondering if we might see that some ADs tried to get some higher prices on watches they received at the end of year. And yes, I am waiting for Sea Dweller 43 and would be happy to get a call this week so guess maybe I am a dreamer.
