I want to know technically how this flat surface with ~ 300 micron 3M medium straight dragged finished with beveled edges is the best finished thing in the world:

And this one with interior angle facets and outer edge polished bevels is "nothing special"... French or not.

I stand by most people think the twinkle of a flat facet is more dazzling but that is different than finer finishing.
oh wow, i always thought AP has one of the finest bracelet design in the world. i didn't actually look much into the finishing

but the VC finishing on non flat facets amazes me, damn i should bust out my VC bracelet and look at it.
only problem why i don't wear the VC bracelet because it doesn't taper much, makes the watch looks bulky when its not.

Also, anyone who's worth their salt knows you need to see these in person to understand how the AP wins
i don't think he meant the brushing and all.
he's comparing where the areas of the VC that's not flat or rather boxy.
look closely at the VC where the links meet, that is not an easy place to polish and finish, it has to be done by hand

I should have cleaned my dirty fingerprints from this one:

As said by others, on the paper it seems the finishing is quite simple, just a bunch of flat brushed surfaces, once you see it in person you understand why people love it.

That's intersting, if you love the watch how come some interactions with random people make you not buy it?
lol probably the association.
like lambo owners, stereotypically they are a$$hole lol

Ha the AP photos look like they were taken with an iPhone 4 vs an iPhone 14 for the VC!
