I prefer the original FXD but it’s interesting that the FXD chrono at 13.6 mm is slimmer than the BB chrono. Must be the carbon case.

Im sure there are lots of people who will think that's cool and buy it.

the colorway is not my cup of tea, but impressed that the FXD Chrono model is only 13.6mm thick using the same MT5813 movement as the regular BB Chrono models....

Tudor home run. The watches reflect a partnership and the execution, with materials used on the yacht, is great. Carbon and titanium! Indicating discretely their partners on the rehaut is an understandable decision. What a pair of watches!

I don't know why but I quite like that Rolex doesn't ... cross-complication so much. The GMT2 will never have a chronograph. They Daytona will never have a GMT or a dive bezel. The Sub will never have a GMT or a chronograph.

I think I *should* like if Rolex brought out a Sub chronograph in parallel with the (current) Sub, as it's just more choice, and choice is good. But ... I don't think I would. For some reason, I think it's ... somehow more classy the way they currently do it.

So I'm not a fan of a chronograph Pelagos.

I agree with you. The mish-mash is a bit jarring. It's the combination of the chrono with a countdown dive bezel that seems off for this kind of watch.

What I mean is that the layout is like a mission timer (a la Sinn). But the aesthetic is not mission timer. It's more "yacht-like" with the connection to RedBull and the Alinghi team. I see mission timers as more "military" in style which would have been great on a MN type aesthetic, toned down, military watch.

So the denim blue and all the other complications makes it disjointed to me for some reason.

Does anyone know if the chrono pushers can be used underwater?

Like the 42mm diver... But can't overlook the soft drink commercial

The chrono is a diver chimera, that alone kills. Plus the soft drink commercial.

Huge miss.

It's a nice enough looking watch and the prices are good.

As for the rehaut engraving, I think it will be like the Rolex rehaut engraving that looked obnoxious in all the ads, but in real life you practically need a loupe to see it.

Nice watches..

Definitely DON'T pay anything over retail on these on the secondary market..

The reception thus far seems pretty weak...so these should be readily available in short order...

The OG FXD is my favorite Tudor. This one is….. not (the rehaut and cheap case material are a turn-off for me).

The OG seems so bad-a@@ in comparison, IMHO.

Tacky novelty watches that will not age well I’m afraid.

I’m a fan of the OG FXD as well. It was very purposely designed including the countdown bezel and fixed springbars, for a niche military unit needing those specifications.

But this is boat racing - I think it would be of greater appeal if motor sports but I still wouldn’t want F1 or Max plastered on my rehaut. I like the iwc MB chrono but the caseback wording is even a turnoff for me and has prevented me from trying that one

oh, the chronograph made me think it's a collaboration with the car racing team. I'm not a tudor guy, sorry about that.

Saw some real photos and I wonder if it’s Tudor’s more upmarket version of a Moonswatch…
