I finally caught on that the offshore celebration is the rerelease of the collaboration pieces in the new 43 style. Pretty cool, wish they embraced it more.

Unfortunately i can’t see the new releases using the above IG link, and it’s not on AP site. If someone is able to post a pic of the pieces you’re discussing above then I’d appreciate that. Thank you!
The Lebron remake above is indeed very nice. |

So weird that the black ceramic case blue ceramic bezel ROO 43 is “price on request”. Like.. why? It’s not like it’s a high end or super unique reference or something.

Was told the BMG Jumbo is AP House only. Probably had no chance anyway.

The ceramic minute repeater is about 400k CHF in round numbers. I will not be getting that

When I bought my 26237ST Beast in 2020 I paid $30k, now the 26238ST is $46k. So it's not just the ceramic case ROOs that had rather generous price hikes compared to the prior gen - but it's true that at $60k it's getting hard to ignore...

That's a clever observation - based on that, anything else one should expect?

Probably due to not carrying a LE or SE premium. |

I believe that the normal criteria for “POA” for AP is still for any piece priced at CHF100k plus. |

Instant grail watch release yesterday from AP;
https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/e...1240OR.03.html And this is a sensational new iteration of the Jumbo too; https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/e...1240XT.01.html Likely they’re both way above my pay, and AP allocation, grade but look I forward to seeing these in person at some point soon. |

Pricing aside, at least the blue ceramic ROO is not a limited edition….however, I can’t imagine they’ll be making too many of them. |

Sure, both are quite unlikely for normal allocation. I got 15510 Khaki 50th and 16202 but still don't see myself getting those pieces anyway.

I was told they’re making 2 per market of the new jumbos.

Some great new releases but very few aimed at the non VIP market. Would of been good to see a few more 43mm ROO variations.

It will obviously look killer with a white rubber strap. The question remains...is the current grey rubber too dark and how would this watch look with something crazier like lime green, aqua, red or yellow. With a white rubber strap, I think it would look great with bright colored button downs and is very neutral. I really like that they went with black subdials and black ceramic crown and pushers (versus the grey ceramic crowns on the Japan diver.). The black rahault ties it together nicely IMHO and makes it more versatile then the pure Japan edition colors. |

Just realised something quite odd about AP pricing.
You can see that both model and reference and very similar however the new release is on “Price on request” while the other one is at 59k€ (including taxes). I do believe that AP is completely lost on how to price their future collection because of market collapse and customers complaining so much about how they increased prices in the past 3 years. Keep in mind that they reduced prices on some pieces earlier this year… Feels like they are starting to pay this heavy pricing strategy and therefore decided to be less transparent about it (that’s sad). |
