The Code looks amazing from a slight profile

When you see the sandwich with royal oak DNA. And the rounded slopes of the sapphire. The top down view just looking at the dial doesn’t feel nearly as nice. The chrono layout now looks good. But imo it is still missing something. Rubber strap that hugs the case so there is no space?

Agree that the double case design is very stunning in person. I really like the looks of the rose gold chrono with the blue dial.

Best in the AP range. The RG with purple face, wow!

At launch, the code was like a butter face. Smoking hot body but face is not up to par.

The dials on the code at launch were not great, but everything else about the case, sapphire, and skeletonized lugs were amazing. No one noticed or cared bc the dial / face were ugly.

Now that AP has largely released beautiful dials on the SS models (and starwheel, RD4, and 38m), people are noticing the amazing body (other attributes) of the watch that were always there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the code becomes as popular or even more popular than the RO and ROO within 5 years

Not sure that would suit the case. Plus this line needs it's on DNA. I think the more recent models have been a great start.
