1908 and the everyday dress watch
Why not go down the route of buying an older Rolex then getting it restored and using that as a daily. Able to take a bit of desk diving, pressure tested and good for 100m and a damn side I’ve gone down the route of an Oyster Precision Manual 6426 with lug holes that make it easy to change the look by switching between bracelets and straps.

Lots of good comments, thanks!
I think JLC pre-own is a good route. I can't do Cartier now since I saw George Santos wearing one on TV and can't get that image out of my head LOL. I think going pre-own any earlier than 2020 would be too risky for me. I guess I just really like the look and the case back of the 1908. Maybe I'll wait a year, and look at the pre-own market, to see where it fits money wise and compare it to the JLC Ultra thin moon. |

If you're wearing underwear without holes then consider yourself well-dressed. Wear whatever watch you want.
