Beware of the flat bottom 2s on aftermarket inserts.

Why does it matter? You can just purchase a pepsi bezel from an AD regardless of which bezel the 16710 came with originally. I've done this recently, and same with sourcing a new jubilee bracelet even though I had an oyster for it.

There was a recent thread reporting that the most current policy is they will only supply a replacement in the original color and was verified by one of our members that is a Rolex watchmaker. I’m glad to hear there are some ADs that are still honoring the old policy.

Look at the 22 on the bezel, you can see the difference between yours and OP's bezel. The 2's on the OP's bezel are flat bottom, they dont follow the curvature. It's easy to see on the 22.

Source: I purchased a fake pepsi bezel and when I went to my rolex AD the boutique manager spotted my pepsi and told me it was fake. He then told me all fake bezels have flat bottomed 2's. I then went on ebay/google and searched replica bezels and he was right. All fakes have flat bottomed 2's. Genuine bezels have curved bottom 2's.

For all OP knows, he could've bought 2 cokes, one with a fake pepsi bezel.
Serif and sans (non) serif is the terminology
