Congrats! Your AD wasn’t honest. Glad you moved on. My AD is a very small one and I got a sub in 3 weeks. They always has one in stock.

Rolex couldn’t give two hoots about a negative review from a potential purchaser who was trying to buy their first Rolex. Get a life

Is there a need to be such a prick?

I’m 100% the beneficiary of writing a bad review. I’ll leave it at that.

Don’t believe any of the AD BS. Good thing you bought grey. Jan 1st prices will increase, so your premium has gotten smaller now.
Enjoy your watch!

OP, I look forward to seeing the incoming photos.

Also, my sense is that you are indeed going to get this allocation from your AD in Q1 of 2024. The more I learn, the more I realize that the ADs are operating in a situation in which a lot is out of their hands, putting them in awkward interactions with customers, particularly when they (perhaps unintentionally) overpromise and underdeliver.

I would not post a negative review. Things like that have a way of finding their way back to you. Some call it Karma.

Google yourself some time. Virtually everything is public. Whine and complain here if you must, but do not post a review.

Agreed - now that I have the watch, I don’t have a lot of resentment toward my AD. I’m also pragmatic and would still like to try for another watch with him even if it’s only a 5% chance.

Tell jimmy you want a full gold sub and watch how it changes things for you.

The issue is spend history.

You make a good point. I did buy an engagement ring from this AD, however, since it's been some time I forgot that I bought the diamond from my uncle who works in the business.

I then had this AD put the diamond in the setting, so technically the ring cost X to me but the AD received 50% of that with my setting purchase.

If I had to pinpoint 2 things that elevated my AD relationship it would be 1. Wearing a white Daytona in. 2. Buying a yellow gold blue sub on the spot.

Next watches I got were Pepsi and meteorite Daytona.

A full PM piece would not be feasible at this time, but it makes sense that would vaunt you up the list.
