Me too - walked in at Bellagio AD and was offered two different SS DJ after a short conversation with a SA: blue and silver dial on jubilee

..although remembering it now, definitely not the same experience at the LV boutique (Aria), they had the typical no watches for sale approach

I was not offered anything but I got a chance to try on some watches I have never seen locally and the ADs were mostly friendly but would twitch and panic randomly and say "exhibition only."

It was like their nervous tick, even when I was chatting about the weather they would blurt it out.

EDIT: Actually I did visit one AD on our trip over the winter holidays .. Bucherer in Lucerne. Actually had a fantastic experience and the sales associates were very accommodating

My comment above was directed more to ADs near my home. I visit my own from time to time, but I don’t pop in on others.

It is a practice that they have had since they reopened after COVID. I have been to their store a dozen times in the past and it is the same practice every time.

No appointments needed at my AD but they do limit the number of customers inside the store at one time. There can be a wait during peak shopping hours. There is also a uniformed off duty police officer there at all times.

I visited most Rolex Ad & Bucherer stores in Vegas during the Christmas holidays and the store in Cesar's palace placed my name on the list....but all stores states exhibition only....
