OP 34 colors

I have heard and read a lot of talk about OP colors being retired. But, the Rolex website still has most. Are all the colors on the website still in production. I want to get my wife a present and was thinking about a pink OP 34 (it’s not candy pink). Is that still in production? Also, any thoughts on its difficulty? My AD got me a DJ 41 pretty quickly, and I am waiting for LV and/or BLNR, but wanted to know if I am asking for another big ask when i go in or is something that would be comparatively reasonable for the wait.

Yes, all the colors shown on Rolex’s website are in production. Including this 34mm “metallic pink” one. Guess it shouldn’t be too difficult to obtain. It’s a great color but not highly sought-after. The same is true about the 34mm size.

In the US, colors still available for the 34 are bright black, pink, blue, and silver. An AD may even be able to order that watch, as 34 mm, in general, should not be that hard to get. I think you’ll be fine.

Bought my wife a 34mm pink; she absolutely loves it. Didn't take long to get, and IMHO think it's almost the perfect size for a lady.

You are absolutely correct. It is a great color and size, for most women. But, I’ve noticed the ladies on this forum, including myself, prefer their watches a bit larger than 34 mm. I’d wear that, though. My vintage pieces are 34 mm.

Agree completely, 34 and 31 for ladies all the way.

31mm is way too small. I never see ladies wearing that size anymore, and I don’t know who 28 mm is meant for, unless it’s for little girls.

I see small watches on ladies regularly. If generalizing, they might be in the sixties and older…could be a generational thing. Sometimes you just do what your parents did even though you might not want to turn into your parents. Nonetheless, there are many small watches out there that get worn regularly. Many women don’t wear watches and if they do often it a smart watch. Just my comments from working with individuals on a daily basis.

So, visited AD and was told that OP is not a watch they can order and that whatever comes in comes in. But, that if a pink one ever comes in I can have it as there isn’t anyone else waiting for it. It’s just really a waiting game. I said I would take 34 or 36 and they will let me know if one comes in. Might go to another AD and put in similar request.
