The only GMT that is 'up' from this time last month, or 6 months, is the BLRO. This is purely off the back of speculation of it being discontinued, of which there is no evidence.

I believe there’s still room to drop! Don’t let the hype buildup of new releases/discontinuations fool you!

Yep, they took a rather large bump in the last 3 weeks.

Most followers of any markets are at max pessimism at the bottom. They are usually 12 months behind market tops and bottoms.

Price declines have definitely slowed and a real bottom is near. Doesn't mean that prices will shoot up, but lots of great deals out there now

No one in their right mind would pay that for a new BLNR. Still selling for 14-17 on moda, depending on year/condition.

Most people aren’t on Moda or dealer only trading groups. So unfortunately most people don’t have that option.

Moda is a dealer group with a smaller percentage of end users.

Yes you can get good deals as an end user, because you are buying more like wholesale, but most buyers do not have the experience to buy in such a group, so most people will not get those prices and have to pay market.

Dealers are paying 15k for the Batgirl on Moda and selling to their customers at 18k. That's the reality for 95% of buyers

Regardless, that is the market. And the market for the BLNR has not moved up in moda. In fact, the earlier models have gone down. There is no reason for anyone to be paying more for this model over the last few weeks from ANY supplier.

Moda has 77k active users. It is not exclusive or difficult to become a member.

I paid $14,350 for a 2020 BLNR last April from a trusted seller.
For reference.

That’s totally inaccurate. The margins on that group are very slim for modern Rolex. Lots of those guys are hoping to make $200-300 on a transaction. I’ve seen some of em buy a full set watch for 11k then try to resell it for 11k without the box then hope to get a couple hundred for the box.

A 26240 50th anniversary blue dial, stainless steel was listed today at $56K. It’s still available. I think I saw a green listed at $62K a few weeks ago %. That one wasn’t a 50th anniversary though.

26240st silver dial, mint condition 50th was bid up to $32 at auction. That’s 14% off retail BEFORE tax.

Some dealer is listing another on Moda for $49k lol. Go figure. And just ask any dealer to buy a RO and see what they offer. Many have put a moratorium on buying

I’m not in the business. That’s just my observations from watching the group for a couple years.

Just a personal opinion.

Steel Rolex mostly bottomed if not even a slight uptick (GMT, Sub, etc)

Gold Rolex really gold everything probably has some more room below to normalize to how it has always been (below retail).

AP and PP probably still some room below in steel maybe 10-20%.

AP and PP gold who knows they seem untouchable at the moment. I don't know how you would find market price on most models without just shooting random lowballs everywhere or through auction.

With that said I never feel like I have to find the exact bottom in everything. I had a really nice 2023 / early 2024 in the market so I have been out there buying.

16618 / 1803 Stella / 15202ST / PP 5065 over the last 12 months and pretty comfortable with the prices I paid. 22k / 35k / 46k / 40k

This has been a great thread to help us all decide where the market is at and where its going so we can enjoy the hobby together and not get taken for a ride when we want to buy our sell.

Vince, that listing sold at auction on Moda for 42k. Not 32k.

This is the first time I fact checked your posts. This is not cool bud

Hey “bud” don’t call me out again unless you know what you’re talking about.

https://grailzee.com/products/audema...t-royal-oak-32

You can see that the final bid price was 32K which didn’t meet reserve and was then negotiated up to 36K

Your reputation is dwindling quickly on this forum…

Same watch sold on Moda on the same day for 42k with over 100 bids.

Your personal attacks and insults are just plain rude, and do not have any place on this forum where we are all here for fun. Pretty disappointing that you cannot discuss in a friendly manner

So what does that tell you about Moda?

You can think whatever you want. Fact is you can’t handle what you dish out. Next time think twice before spewing false attacks. I have thick skin but little patience for posts like yours.
