Polishing my TT Sub
Hi Folks
Posting after a long time. I have a Two tone sub from 2018. I wanted to get it polished (I see many fine scratches). Should I also get it serviced ? Can someone please recommend options for Polish/Service? AD says Their watchmaker polish - upto $400 Rolex Polish and Service $1500+ I think its a rip off.. Any advice on selecting a good watchmaker or another AD? I am in Austin TX Thanks Ash

If you think that’s a rip off to spend after six years of ownership I don’t think you thought it would this through. I don’t know how much cheaper than $400 you expect to spend for me even the full service price is reasonable

Sounds like your AD is overcharging. Send it to RSC, Dallas.

I think that paying 400 bucks for a "polish" is impractical because a month later you are right back to a watch with wear and tear.

Can I deal directly with them and bypass the AD?
