I’m hoping to collect a Patek in the next few weeks which will nicely fill a spot in my collection. I ideally think 5 watches is the perfect number, however, I am up to 6, and I still don’t have a diver. Because of this I feel I need to add a diver taking it to 7.

My problem is 1) the BLNR is very similar to the submariner, so I’m not sure If both would be a bit overkill. 2) if I was to pick a diver, it would probably be the submariner. But it seems a little… boring. So I’m considering either the LV version or, a birth year sub to add vintage to the collection and having a birth year watch to round it off. I’m born in the 90s so a 16610 would be the option, unless I go no date.

My current collection is:

Rolex BLNR oyster
Rolex DaytonaC white dial
Rolex DD40 YG black motif dial
JLC reverso ultra thin duo face GMT
AP 15450st blue dial
Patek 5205G blue dial

All have been bought at retail, and the JLC was a 21st present from my family so I’m reluctant to sell any.

Opinions would be appreciated, thank you.

You are missing a ALS Saxonia in your collection, not another Rolex

If I was to go Lange, I think I would go with a Lange 1. Why do you say saxonia?

Well they are 3 maxi case sports watches. I’m not saying the same but there is somewhat overlap. But then again, all3 are amazing so if you like them nothing wrong with that.

A Kermit has caught my eye. Non maxi case sub with colour.
