Yeah, I've never really looked at them before but the new GMTs turned me on to them and then I started thinking of this piece from 15 years ago that started me off on this Rolex journey. I think I'm probably done now with TT and incomings for a while... unless WW pulls me back in.

Tough choice, I did go with blue first in full YG and its a wonderful piece, so I would probably still get that first. Then get the black.

Classic Trf photo this one. I got the TT Bluesey so wouldn’t get the black tt sub but defo a hard choice if you had to decide on one. They are both great Tt submariners. Probably the black dial is more versatile but the blue dial shines.
You are adding a few nice TT Rolexes to the collection. What is the state of the collection now? Still got the full gold blue dial sub? Maybe the gold green dial submariner will get added if it gets released on Tuesday

That´s indeed a very beautiful watch, you´re very lucky. But the photo of your steak lunch got me salivating and really hungry again, and I´ve just had dinner!! Now I´m going to have to attack a bag of crisps or something…

Cheers mate and yes I still do, altho I am moving away from all gold Rolex watches as they get a bit heavy on me after a while but pics like that make me rethink! I still love PM so really like the OF offerings, the YG Champagne Daytona and RG YM 40, so I might trade for one of them in the future.

Love the black and YG. The bluesy is nice but the black and gold just looks so much more classy.

Incoming - Black Sub TT

The first time I went into a Rolex AD I asked to try on a Sub, not really knowing what they were and I really wasn't seriously thinking of buying one back then. So the SA comes out and lays it on the table and I thought wow this thing really shines, these Rolexes really do scintillate and sing, and it was only when I put it on that I realised it was a TT model, so no wonder I was so impressed with it.

I didn't buy it but I always remembered the huge impression it made on me and I thought I'd love to own that one day. Well, since then I have indeed owned a number of Rolexes but never that one so I decided to right that finally. And celebrated it with a nice steak lunch, feels like an old friend.

Very nice Neil ! Like it a lot more than the so called bluesey!
