Multi-year pledge members

Just a thought...

Would it be possible to have a multi-year pledge member indicator by our avatars.

It started in 2008 right?

So 2008-10 pledge member or 2 yr pledge or 3 yr pledge member, etc.

Probable a PITA, but thought I'd ask. Be cool to distinguish us lifers!!!

JJ should get a GOLD life membership. Until he gets banned, that is.

I second that! He would definitely deserve a golden membership, for all the good things he brings to this forum

To do that I would have to go to individuals accounts and manually set that. At the end of the year I would need to make changes manually to each account again. It would take hours of my time every year to do that.

You know all of the changes to accounts have to be done manually, just to make people 2010 pledge members has already taken many hours.

What I might suggest is that you add a line to your signatures to represent among other things the commitment you have made to the forum, you can use coloured text too. Be creative and individualise your signatures. It still has the same effect and it gives you the opportunity to more stylistically personalise your posts and make a statement too.

I figured it would be a PITA. What was the color for 08? 09 was the gold right?

Pledge member?

Sorry for the newbie question, but where can I get information on exactly what is a pledge member?
Thanks,
Nick
