For what I got this watch for it's perfect. 10/10.
I can do anything at all I want in this watch with no fear at all. To the guy that had a problem with his g shock I'll bet you bought a fake by accident. How could you possibly break a real one? |

i think i'm having a G-Shock itch again and started looking at the Hyper-Color ranges again. came close to getting an Orange or Lime Green on not long ago.... i should probably to to the G-Shock store to check it out and see which one they have in stock i probably end up with a black with green dial one in the end (much more subtle than the other ones me thinks ) |

Here's my two.
A classic DW5700 from the 80s; a very collectible 'screw back' G. My other is a world timer with a 10 year battery life. Excellent timepieces. The 5700 has been with me on travels and has never failed. I dont think CASIO makes a 'screw back,' G anymore btw...

Loving this topic..
Here is my favorite among my collection, the GW5000, This watch feels perfect, really. It's a bit more pricey than the average Gshock as it's 100% Japan made, but the quality is far superior. The rubber is different,a lot more softer and smoother feeling to it. Even the display looks more crisp and legible from different angles. [IMG] |

I like this GShock Aviator Mission timepiece !
I am likin this GShock, the GW3500.
In comparison, it is tougher than a B1 and lots less $$$ The only thing I dont like about it is its not a "screwback"... From their website: http://www.casio.com/products/Timepi...ck/GW3500B-1A/ Balanced at the controls is one way to describe the new G-Aviation Mutli-Mission Combi (MMC). With Tough Solar Power, Atomic Timekeeping and Tough Movement, the watch can endure centrifugal gravity loads up to 12G. Its golden color balance of black and yellow enhance its detailed face for an upscale look and feel of cockpit instrument panel. Tough Solar Power Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping Tough Movement – Auto hand home position correction World Time (48 cities + UTC) Technical Specs Multi-Band Atomic Timekeeping (US, UK, Germany, Japan, China) Receives time calibration radio signals which keep the displayed time accurate Auto receive function (up to 6 times per day/up to 5 times per day for China) Manual receive function Signal: US WWVB, UK MSF, Germany DCF77, Japan JJY40/JJY60, China BPC Frequency: US 60kHz, UK 60kHz, Germany 77.5kHz, Japan 40/60kHz, BPC 68.5kHz Tough Solar Power Shock Resistant Tough Movement Auto hand home position correction 200M Water Resistant Full Auto LED Light w/Afterglow Neo-brite luminous hands and markers World Time 29 times zones (48 cities + UTC), city code display, daylight saving on/off, home city/world time swapping) 4 Daily Alarms and 1 Snooze Alarm 1/100 second stopwatch Measuring capacity: 23:59'59.99" Measuring modes: Elapsed time, split time, 1st-2nd place times Countdown timer Measuring unit: 1 second Countdown range: 1 hour Countdown start time setting range: 1 minute to 1 hour (1-minute increments) Other: Auto-repeat Full Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099) 12/24 Hour Formats Accuracy: +/- 15 seconds per month (with no signal calibration) Storage Battery: Solar Rechargeable Battery Battery Power Indicator Power Saving Function Approx. I've been seeing a lot of kids wearing these at school. Red ones, white ones. No black. Those are kids who don't care about the time, the movement, the chronograph just the look.

Well they are pretty fun watches with a lot of function. As far as movement goes I dont really care about the movement on a quartz watch either but I do care a lot about the look. |
