Thanks for posting. I'm in the market for a red sub (complete set - box, papers, tags, etc.) and it's proving to be much more difficult to find than I anticipated. Good things come to those who wait I guess.

Rivet bracelet...
Yes, excellent write ups on the Red Sub, however I prefer the Rolex Rivet bracelet, though the author is correct in that the Rivet bracelet does feel lighter/cheaper than the standard Sub bracelet. I am sold on Rolex Rivet, and would like to find another for my other sub...
author's comment: "2. USA Made Riveted Bracelets -- There have been more than a few Red Subs that were purchased from original owners that had USA Riveted bracelets on them. ...These bracelets have a cheaper feel than any of the other bracelets."

I see James Dowling has a meters first mk11 dial Red sub for sale.
Guess what it has papers and a 2.63 serial number.
