Could not access TRF
Guys,
I believe that there is a problem with TRF servers or Dragonara. Here is the Issue: it appears that our IP address and MAC address have been blocked. The same thing happened to another user here on TRF and the solution was to clone his laptops MAC Address and issue that to the router which gave him access. So this means that the problem is related to MAC Address authentication. Now here is my issue. Yesterday, I was blocked here in the office and could not access TRF. I can access any websites; secure and non secure. But when I use a proxy website I can access TRF fine. I have checked our routers for any changes because it might be a virus. No change in the config file of our Cisco Routers. The whole office, all 500 computers can not access TRF... okay I have not tried it in all 500 but I tried 20 pcs and i stopped there. We have DS3. I called them and asked them if rolexforums.com was blocked by the ISP and they said that it is not blocked and I asked them to include it in the white list. So here is my findings... since the same thing happened to that user that I supported and issue was fixed, and the same thing just happened to me, it has to be something to do with the Servers timing out or blocking our Mac Address. any ideas from fellow network engineers?

I have narrowed it down to my public IP being blocked. Can I mod or a web admin please unblock my IP? Please?

We have hundreds of blocked IP addresses in the database and due to the very nature of the function we can't attribute any one of them to you. All we can historically attribute to you is the list of successful IP addresses used. |

If your computer is operating with trojan DoS invasion protection then you have a problem. The forum will detect that you are requesting packets of data and will block your IP.

Sir Stavrodos,
I dont think we are running trojan DoS invasion protection. Ever since I joined the Forums in January all was fine. But like what you said "The forum will detect that you are requesting packets of data and will block your IP" I think I know what happened. I use firefox and recently, I just open multiple tabs. Like when I am in the for sale section, I just right click on an AD and open to another tab. I do this so quickly and multiple times that it can be mistaken that I am requesting an obscene amount of packets of data. It now makes sense to me. Is there any way that my IP can be unblocked, Sir? Thank you for your help.

If you send to me privately your IP address I can possibly rectify.
