Issue accessing TRF

On my iPhone I am not signed into TRF, and when I use the safari web browser as usual, I cannot access TRF as it asks for username and sign in. Same with Mozilla Firefox on my computer which also asks for my username and sign in even when I go the main page Rolexforums.com

When I use safari on my laptop, through which I am always logged in, it works great, but it seems that on browsers for which one has not signed in or does not have an account, at least in my experience just TODAY cannot see website content unless one signs in/have an account? Does anyone else have a similar issue? Try signing out of your account and going to rolexforums.com

This is what I am getting once I sign out, and then try to access rolexforums.com, no main page at all just the sign in prompt.

Icon20 Noticed a change to TRF access

On my work computer at the university, I do not sign in to TRF because it is not a "secure" computer, and as of two days ago, I cannot look at TRF without signing in. If you sign out of TRF and make sure you are signed out, and type in "rolexforums.com" into the browser URL, if you are still signed out, you will find that you cannot view any content at all without getting past the login. Do any mods know if this is a permanent change or a recent glitch?

PS- Also I do not sign into TRF on my iPhone because a year and half ago we all remember the password phishing incident when several members including myself had our accounts hacked because we clicked on a dummy phishing website that was designed to look like TRF only to phish for our passwords once we logged in. On a computer many members had antivirus software that warned of the phishing website, but the iPhone did not warn me as it did not have antivirus as a smartphone. From then on I never sign into my smartphone and just browse as a guest until I get home or am on the work computer. Now one cannot look at any TRF content without signing in. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or is it just me?

Cheers and happy new year to everyone!!

The login required function is a recent addition whilst we monitor the forum performance, ensuring our bandwidth is being taken by bona fida members and lurkers.

Probably a temporary thing.

I noticed this. Strange that it still lists guests logged on?

You must sign in to view the forums.
This will be something that happens from time to time.
Thank you

Well the mods have said it is temporary, but I think the guests are just those who browsed TRF before without an account, and trying to browse still right now, but are now on the outside looking in and cannot see any content (until they register), but still count as a guest.

Just used the work public computer and the indeed TRF is not locked any more, but when I try to resume activities the entire forum is empty, there are no threads or posts at all to see.
