vintage sub mariner 5513
I have jumped in at the deep end and purchased a vintage 5513 NON DATE SUB MARINER, bought from a jewellers in New York case and number appear to be ok, I know the watch bezel glass and strap have been replaced and hands and dial. florescent markers and matching steel hands.
Swiss is stamped on the 6 oclock position of the dial. My question is did Rolex manufacture spares for hands and dials for submariner of this age? As the 5513 MODEL ceased production around 1990 depth is mounted under sub mariner logo hands and dial having florescsent markers. apologies I haven't a light tent hope pic is ok. |

Rolex surely doesn't have any spare parts from the 90s... :(
If you'd like to restore the original look of your submarines you must find by yourself all the components(dial etc) |

5513 dial on sub mariner
Can anyone say whether this dial is genuine or not, it has florecent markers not original for watch but I like the LUM they give out. It has a 48 hour rerserve does this seem right for caliber of movement 1520/1530 for a watch with a 1518--- SERIAL NO.
