crown stem question
Am enjoying my new TOG, but curious about how smoothly the crown (once unscrewed) should move into the "setting" position. When I went to advance the time due to DST change (my 1st time setting the watch since the AD adjusted the bracelet and time), the crown was "tight" and kind of "fiddly" to move into the setting mode. I had to try to pull the stem several times before it went into position. Should I be concerned and take it back to the AD for "adjustment" or is it because the watch has sat for a year (since assembly) unused?
My submariner is very smooth in this respect hence the concern about my DJ. Any comments / advice would be appreciated. |

Welcome to TRF!
I don't think you should be worried, Dan! I've experienced this with various Rolex models, including the GMT IIc (that has a Triplock crown). Sometimes you just have to fiddle a bit with the crown to make it act as it should.
