Crown squeaks when wound
I was winding my GMT II today and noticed a prominent squeaking sound. It sounds like one of the 'O' rings is rubbing against something.
Everything else seems to be normal. The watch functions perfectly well and the crown does not make an unusual sound when it is pulled out to the 2nd or 3rd position in order to change the date or time. Have any of you experienced this? Can I get away with wearing the watch and not sending it in for a service? Btw, the watch is nearly 4 years old and very sparingly used. Thanks |

Shouldn't squeak from the crown. I'd have it checked.

gaskets sound a little dry, probably need to be lubed.
