how about a GMT ll dial not II with 3186 movement in M-serial.
box, receipt, books tags. the warranty card was lost. but an AD could issue a new one or still would be under rolex warranty. truely a collector's piece and rare. many references available...$4600 (253)312-0081 john

Let's see the movement. How do we really know it's a 3186?

3186 verified. also wiggle test is 100% accurate if you know how to do so...
i think this topic was written number of times. no need for opening the case. its faster to learn about the movements. then it'll tell you why the wiggle test is accurate.

A wiggle test is no guarantee. The only way to know for sure is to see the movement. Has the case ever been opened on this watch?

Agree with above poster............wiggle test means nothing, show us pics under the hood, otherwise we have to assume it is a 3185

case was opened and verified. have the receipted statement with 3186 movement with serial number. btw isn't this supposed to be FS/WTB?? any of you guys interested in buying? before you start posting your own opinions here, i would study about the mechanics of the movement first. :P

Why didn't you state this earlier? It would've alleviated a ton of confusion.

the watch is from tempoking and the inspection of the movement was performed before i purchased the watch, and sent the certified doc with the watch with serial # and the movement. (showing in the photo) the watch was never worn with sticker intact as it shows in the photo as well. if inspection of the watch makes it a used watch then, what would you call this? how would you buy a new watch with 3186?? so all 3186 can't be purchased new? cuz unless the back is opened, its 3185?
as i describe the watch...NEVER WORN. ALL STICKERS STILL INTACT~!!! NIB.

The watch was opened and I checked the movement, I saw that indeed it has
the all desireable 3186 movement, this action will definately affect the price UPWARDS ... AND NOt THE OTHER WAY AROUND. When we closed the back we used a Bergeon original key for opening and closing waterproof and grooved watch-cases such as the one attached to this GMT, the closure of the screw back was performed with torgue precision and stopped when it was finally at the correct place as outlined by the factory. Jhon Kwon is a decent guy and if he says that the watch is LIKE NEW in box thats good enough for me, he does not want to use the term TOTALLY NEW, so this way you will be pleasantly surprised and at the same time SAVE more than 1500 dollars for an extremely rare and collectible watch. So I suggest if you are looking for 16710 GMT II with the 3186 movement...please do not hesitate to offer the guy a reasonable price. Trust me when I say ...it is to your advantage. |
