What about changing the glass/crystal?

I live in asia, and would not be comfortable sending any of these through the mail...
Crown and tube is a common replacement, crystal is also important for water resistance.

I would inquire further among the vintage guys regarding the value/ importance of the original crown and crystal.

I would also ask if RSC would be able to give you those parts back if you went ahead and had them replaced at service? (On modern watches they keep all the old parts)

It would be a shame not to wear them. In that condition, and serviced, they will serve you as if they were new

Yeah if anyone can chime in, would be much appreciated!

They said that they would not replace the part. Maybe if I ask them again but probably not...

It could be a late 94300. Those matte silver dials were used on 94xxx and very early 791xx. The bezel confuses me a bit, as it should be polished (looks brushed).

Either way, awesome collection!

Should have went for the moon watch.

Amazing collection.

Im not a fan of the woody day date - even after the dial swap. I would have rather gotten a late 1960s day date on leather strap with silver dial for half the price. Also that speedmaster MII is ugly IMO - maybe its your thing though. The caliber of this collection is better justified with a pre-moon Speedmaster professional "moon watch". I would leave the tudor and get a datejust or something. OR - if you like tudor get a blue tudor submariner.

Just some thoughts .
