Saw an Oris in the wild today
On one of the attorneys I work with. Looked good. I realized it was a nice watch, but from a distance, couldn't tell what it was exactly. Later in the elevator I got a close look. I didn't say anything, but really liked it.
Nice watches for the price.

David, any idea of the model? I agree, Oris is a good value. Lots of different styles with many like the TT1 references very iconic to the brand. I've got the TT1 WorldTimer. It's a heafty chunk of SS. dP

Just surfing the Oris website. Assuming it was a current model, I think it might have been the Williams F1 Nico Rosberg. Definitely had the lined rubber strap, and I don't think it was big enough to be a TT1. I'm going to have to ask next time I see him.

Nice TT1 Worldtimer you've got there, Dan! I much prefer the TT1s and TT2s over the new TT3s.
DSJ, hope you can ask what model it is next time you see the guy. You said he's an attorney -- does the rubber strap go well with a suit? I had a Big Crown before and still have a Tonneau Classic but rarely use it now as I find it too small for my wrist. Anyways, I agree that Oris are good, reasonably priced watches -- High Mech!!! |

With Oris you sure do get one hefty watch for a decent price. Like the packaging with the Williams F1 watch to me is perfect, i'm one of those people who loves all the little accessories!
