Explorer II bracelet change

Any good ideas for a bracelet upgrade for an L series (1989) Polar Exp II?

I have the age appropriate 78360 Oyster bracelet with standard clasp, but kind of miss the solidity of the newer bracelets/clasps and was wondering if any of the current SS bracelets would fit this 40mm case. I'd like to consider other bracelets besides the 78790A with solid end links and short flip-lock clasp. I'm sure the 42mm Exp II claps wouldn't work, because of the case diameter, but what about other options for a similar look and feel???

Thanks
