16013 Datejust : "Delayed Date Flick"

Hello,

I have a 16013 Datejust. Piece seems to have some age to it along with hits & ware. When I go to set the date, the date wheel takes it's time flicking over. It isn't like it is 2-3 minutes late. It's 15 minutes late. Here are my specific questions.

1. Is this common in older pieces?

2. What type of hit does the value of my piece take if it has this issue?

3. Ball park estimate on a repair of this type?

Thank you all for your help,

- MP

Does the date change instantly at 12:15am? Or do you mean the date change begins at 12:00am but doesn't complete until 12:15am?

I hear a small tick almost like a duller "date flick" sound when the hour hand hits the 12, then after it reaches the 3 position it flicks finally.

Option 2!

Thank you Sir,

Have you recently acquired the watch? Are the hands aftermarket?
