I convinced a coworker into buying a Rolex.

Vice versa. My dad introduced me to Rolex, and it has now become an obsession!

I don't have any close friends that wear Rolex and my wife is happy with her Fossil watch. My wife's eyes roll within 10 seconds of watch talk! I save my watch conversations for Trf and GTGs!

Nope. I would never attempt to convince anyone.

I often regret even answering questions...most folks just think Rolex is a show off brand and have no clue or appreciation for the quality, design, history etc.

Most of the questions I do get involve price...and things usually go downhill from there. 🙄

Nope. I try not talking about watches around friends/family. Got tired of watching their eyes glaze over.
