Regardless of the legitimacy of the guy, I highly doubt the explorer ii will see a change, it’s got the new movement and would be less likely to change the case/bezel imho

Depends on how you define "new." It's a 3187, so it's still a 31xx base, not the 3285 we see in the 2018 GMTs. That said, the 3187 is newer than the 3186 in the other GMT models.
