There are gangs of Women in the US. Much more vicious and sneaky than anywhere else. And there are millions of them here.
You marry them and then they divorce you. I lost $30,000 in legal fees and 1.6 mill in the actual robbery.

Be careful guys.

I spend a lot of time in BCN and always wear one of my Rolexes, unless i know I will be in a noted tourist area like Passeig De Gracia or el Gotic with my watch exposed. Winter makes it easy.

Wouldn’t stop every theft occurrence, but would make stolen watches harder to dispose of & therefore be some form of theft deterrent.

Saying that Rolex do not seem an organisation that cares much for it’s customers - only their wallets….
Ya mine President.
But surely the object of the exercise would be for Rolex to openly advertise the existence of the register on any and every media they are using in order for it to be an effective deterent just as they advertise every other achievement.

Or is it possible Rolex is keeping it a bit of a secret and waiting for the right time to announce it to the world.
Sort of a big surprise/viola momentus occasion where the girl pops out of a cake like in Under Seige for maximum impact and exposure.

I stayed in W hotel many years ago and liked the hotel, but can imagine gangs circle the hotel, they have spotters looking for people with watches. The Sky bar for example would be perfect for spotting when people are drunk.

This is awful. Sorry to hear it.

Thank you for reminding us to be careful.

Just returned from Barcelona. Wore my 226570. Felt safe pretty much everywhere. With that said, always kept it under a sleeve. It also is not PM, and perhaps less recognizable than many other models. I suppose YMMV.

Watch thefts are sporadic and only effect a very small percentage of the total wearers in a location. Having said that, it's not a big deal until it happens to someone and then it is to them.
