Yep - was released this week - looks great and before you ask I actually passed on it

Only because I really don’t want another rose piece - I think it’s awesome

I could see not wanting another rose overseas, but damn it looks good!

So my birthday is today (Halloween). When I got my 4500v earlier this month as a grail watch and major treat to myself I mentioned to my wife that I sure would love the orange rubber strap for it - knowing it’s impossible to get. 100 made worldwide for one year. A kid can dream. It’s my favorite color for obvious reasons.

Well, leave it to her… she surprised me with this today. Overnighted from Australia to make it in time. Floored.

How are you enjoying it compared to the bracelet?

I find I favour the rubber (yet to try the alligator)

So far I’m really enjoying it - changes the feel of the watch. Same deal with the leather - perhaps when it’s a little colder.

The bracelet is very well done though and so comfortable.

Super comfortable on the rubber step. DM me if you would like to see a black 4500 on a white rubber strap or I'll try to post one later. Enjoy it!!

Picked up a gen 2 white dial chronograph a couple weeks ago. Been wearing it a lot and really enjoying it. The big date and the textured dial really swayed me to this piece over the 4500v silver dial which I was also looking at (saving some money was part of it too). Biggest thing for me was the bracelet which is the same as gen 1 (without the quick release)

Saw someone on Reddit mention that the silver dial 4500v is discontinued. Even though it's still shown on the official website, apparently the boutique staff told them it's discontinued.

Anyone else hear about this?

I never believe anything the AD says until it's official, everyone knows that the ADs are full of sxhit most of the time

That pic above is one heck of a winning 2 piece, no biscuit needed.

I love mine, I keep it on the bracelet, rarely on the leather strap, never tried the rubber.

I would say they aren't quite as difficult as the brands you mentioned. It's mostly the blue dial Overseas that is difficult to get. When I last inquired, they said it was somewhere around 4-5 years for the 3-hand blue dial Overseas.

The VC boutique on Bond Street is such a joke. I registered my interest early 21 and was told end of 22 I'd get my allocation. I followed up again early 22 and then they said 5 years. I then randomly called them mid 22 and they said yeah maybe end of 22 / early 23.

Not sure how much longer they can keep this up. You can nearly buy a 4500v in blue dial on the grey market at MRSP.

Agree, VC is the worst cust svc in the business. White and black already below retail in secondary market. They are crashing harder than others.
